PROPOSAL FOR AN ON-SITE ANGIORAPHY SUITE
The current project of the Friends of the Hospital is to provide an on-site Angiography Suite at Letterkenny General Hospital.
A Cardiologist performs this test and an angiogram is needed to access the severity of stenosis or narrowing of the arteries before contemplating further treatment, which is the insertion of a sleeve ot stint to the narrowing or blocking of the atteries.
If the Friends are successful in raisng funds for this necessary equipment , it will eliminate many patients having to travel to Dublin or Sligo for investigation or treatment
We have already raised approx 60% of funds required for the new Angiography Suite…….many thanks to all who contributed to our current fund-raising project)
